A week ago I went to Jason & MaryAnne’s house to take some photos of them, baby Ellyce (who turned 2 weeks old that day) and little Amelie (who had just turned 3 years old). It was such a fun time and Amelie just cracked me up – she had so much energy and was bouncing all around, and then at the very end of the session she was too wound up and not obeying so had to have a time out and was then weeping loudly, but then by the time I left she was smiling again! She’s so adorable and sweet!!! 
And then little Ellyce – oh so cute and tiny and she had so much hair, I was amazed! I loved when Jason held her up under her little arms cause she’s just so tiny!! When she was laying on the ground on a yellow blanket she was awake and just looking all around and let me take lots of pictures of her, she was so good, and she was even adorable when she was crying!
One thing that cracked me up was the facial expressions Ellyce would make when Amelie got right close to her to kiss her face or just say “hello” right into her face – little Ellyce had already learned to scrunch up her face and try to move away. I have a great photo of my brother, when he was a baby and I was 3 years old, looking up at me with a disgusted face as I was holding him, so every time Ellyce made a face it reminded me of that photo!
It was such fun being around little Amelie and Ellyce, and Jason and MaryAnne are so wonderful and easy to be around! Congratulations to them on their new little addition to the family, and thank you for letting me spend some time with you all!! Also, being there with them definitely made me look forward to the time when Jody and I have a family of our own, too!
Oh – I got these so so so cool blog story-boards, which I used a number of times in this post because then I can group together similar photos and they tell more of the story! And it also lets me share more photos but easier! I love these things now!!!!

This is one of my favorite photos, I love it so so so much! And I love both the black & white and color versions equally, so I have both of them here because I couldn’t decide on one of them!

After Amelie saw the slideshow of Jody and I from our wedding day, she picked dolls for Jody and I and would play having them get married and kissing and all that, so so so cute!!! I asked her to get me the dolls so I could take some photos – I was the little Barbie and Jody was the little spaceman!
This was cracking me up – Ellyce was mostly sleeping and Jason was playing with her little arms while she slept!

This cracks me up, and I love it so much! Like Father, Like Daughter – both Jason and Amelie demonstrating how they can put their toes in their mouths!
And finally, little Ellyce’s baby foot, which she’ll be able to put in her mouth one day soon, too!!
