My third shoot last Saturday was with Laurel, who is fourteen years old, in 9th grade, and my friend Lori’s daughter. Laurel is one of the coolest high schoolers I can remember meeting, she’s self-assured, confident, fun, laid-back, and a bit tomboyish (she climbed a tree for me!). I remember myself at her age and I wish I would have had just a tiny bit of her confidence! She and her mom are so funny together, too – they tease each other and laugh and have fun. I’m so glad I’ve met and gotten to know them both better!!!
I love how Laurel’s photos turned out, and I had a really hard time choosing which ones to post. I love how her personality shines through so many of them. And the last one makes me laugh – we were doing some shots of Lori and Laurel holding hands, and then Laurel won the race of kicking the other in the bum!
