Meet little Payton – she was one day shy of three weeks old when we took these photos, and was so small and so cute!!! She was not happy at all about having her photo taken, and she was also refusing to fall asleep – mom Krista fed her three separate times (and little Payton went both #1 and #2 on her during all this!) and tried everything to calm her down and lull her to sleep, dad James came up to try his hand at getting her to sleep, big sister Cameron went outside to play while we were waiting, and finally little Payton fell into a light sleep for us! We managed to get her little sucker out of her mouth for some photos, and then at the very end of the session, when we went outside for some family photos, then little Payton was fast asleep!
Krista loves photos and photography, and she had so many props – I definitely want to get some of the little angel wings that she had!!! And James is in the army and has done tours of duty in both Bosnia and Afghanistan, so we took some photos of Payton with his boots, helmet, blanket, and metals. The whole family was wonderful and so friendly, and little Payton was so adorable even when she was crying! Also, I absolutely loved Payton’s room – the walls were painted pink, the furniture was black, there were pink curtains in the window, and so many wonderful little decorations all over the room. And Payton’s initials spell “pear” so there were some little pears in the room, too! Oh and one other thing – Payton has SO MANY clothes already!!!! She’s going to be the best dressed little baby girl!!! 
Thank you so much to James, Krista, Cameron, and little Payton (and the three family cats who kept checking things out and who were so friendly and sweet!) – I had such a good time with you all! Here are some of my favorite photos from the day!
