A couple weekends ago I met Michael, Renata, 3-year-old Mikayla and 15-month-old Maro at Kildonan Park for some family photos. It was a pretty cold day so we took lots of photos quickly before Mikayla and Maro got too cold, which didn’t take very long! But before that, I loved seeing them playing in the snow – seeing little Maro take big steps to get through the thick snow and little Mikayla making snow angels and throwing snow around, she loved throwing the snow and I even got a few of her throwing snow at the camera and then posing with her arms still out afterwards! And I love the fun shots of Mike and Ren at the end!
Michael and Ren were both so nice, fun and easy to talk with, and Mikayla and Maro were both so adorable, it was a fun time and wonderful for my first shoot out in the snow! And also, I loved Ren’s coat!!! It’s just the kind and color of coat that I’ll be getting very soon! 
I did get warmer boots after this shoot, and I still really need some better gloves cause oh my fingers get cold so fast!

Maro’s expressions in this next set make me smile every time I look at them – I see him thinking, “I need to smile for the camera but what’s wrong with my sister?!”
