Meet Morgan and Joe!! They’ve been dating for a little over 4 years now and about a week and a half ago we met on a very cold but beautiful day for some fabulous photos!! They’re both very good ice skaters, Joe played hockey for years and Morgan used to play rings (I think that’s the right name), so they decided to go to the duck pond/ice pond at Assiniboine Park. It was around -18C (a little less than 0F) that day, and as Morgan reminded me, the wind chill was -39C (-38F)!! BUT you would hardly know from the photos – they both took their coats off and then Morgan took her gloves off for the part of the time, too! I was seriously AMAZED at their resilience – it was COLD!!! But I love how the photos turned out without them having bulky coats, so I love that they did it!!!
I had so much fun with them both, they laughed so easily and so much, they had so much fun together, they kissed lots – I loved it! And I think Joe was whispering some very funny things in Morgan’s ears throughout to make her laugh so much! 
Near the end they did some jumping shots that were so funny, I laugh every time I see them and also the shots right after when they’re laughing so hard at themselves! The entire shoot was really fun and honestly, even though the temperature was really cold, somehow because of the sun and how bundled I was and how wonderful they both were, I really didn’t feel too cold. There are a couple shots I have towards the end where Morgan’s arms are really red though – she suffered wonderfully for the sake of fabulous photos – I love her!!!
Oh – this was my first shoot using my new 70-200mm, f/2.8 IS lens!!! Yay!!! I love that magical and beautiful lens so much!!!
Thank you so much to Morgan and Joe, I had such a great time with you and we got SO MANY great shots, and you two are so fun and so cute together!!! Here are many of my favorites from the day!!!
