Here’s Part 2 of Marnie and Kyle’s Wedding Day!!! Their ceremony was held at St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church. It was beautiful and moving and included some tears, some laughter, and lots of love so was perfect all around! Kyle told me that when he was a little boy, he used to think the church was in an upside-down ship or something like that, and I could immediately see why – the whole ceiling was really cool and gorgous!
After the ceremony we headed a few blocks away for family and group photos in a little park, and then we drove to a wide open space for lots of photos with the 4 classic old cars – yes 4 of them! Three of them are Harolds – his favorite Road Runner, a super-cool mean-looking Dart painted in flat black paint, and a beautiful red Charger. And the last car is Kyle’s, a 1968 green Impala. That car has some very special significance – Kyle’s uncle bought it new in 1968 and Kyle’s parents had some photos taken of them in the backseat of that car at their wedding in 1968. Kyle’s dad passed away about 4 years ago, so it was so special to Kyle to be able to use that car as their wedding car and be able to have photos of he and Marnie in and around the car. I’ll also note that Kyle’s dad was very, very remembered throughout the day and there were some very poignant moments during both the ceremony and reception, and even I cried during a few very special moments of the reception when Kyle was talking about him.
I’ll have one more post after this one that will continue with the rest of the photo session and the reception and will have a link to a slideshow as well.
Thank you again to Marnie & Kyle for being so fabulous and also so patient in waiting for me to post more photos!! And thank you again to Amber for second shooting for me and to Chris Laramee of Media Xpozure for being the most awesome videographer ever!!
And here are some of my favorite photos of this part of the day!! ::

After the ceremony, we went to a little park a few blocks away for fun family photos and the sunlight on the trees was so magical!

Marnie and her three big brothers, I love this!!

I LOVE these next two!!

The mean-looking black Dart, I love how scary and cool it looks!

The red Charger, I love red cars!

Kyle’s very special 1968 Impala

Kyle and his mom, Florence, with the Impala – they’re so cute!!

This was Kyle’s mom and dad in 1968 on their wedding day, posing in the back of the Impala, and the next photo is Kyle and Marnie in a similar pose (and I tried to get a similar tone and look and did okay but I’ll try for a better one later).

I love this one!!

The fabulous Road Runner – I love that the cartoon road runner is on the car, too!

I love this one, too!! Stay tuned soon for the last post!!

And here’s a little surprise for Marnie and Kyle – I met Cooper a few days before their wedding and took a few photos! For those of you who don’t know, Cooper is their baby and even had his own section in their slideshow at the reception!!
