Aimee and Christopher are such an inspiration to me as a couple and it’s one of many reasons I love being around them. They have such a deep love that comes from being together for I think six years now, but they also have such a romantic sweetness and excitement for each other like they’re in the beginning of their relationship. I love seeing that, it’s so wonderful!
Their wedding day was so perfect, it was beautiful weather and they were surrounded by so much love and fun in their family and friends. Aimee looked stunning in her dress and I absolutely ADORED the vintage theme of her wedding. And Christopher looked so handsome and in love! And these two had one of the best looking wedding parties ever!!
I started the day with the girls at Atomium Hair Salon downtown, and then we went to Aimee’s parents’ house where the girls did their makeup and got dressed. My wonderful hubby started with Christopher and the guys for some getting ready photos, and then we all met at the church. I loved seeing Aimee’s teary eyes when she walked down the aisle looking at Christopher, and seeing Christopher’s look of love and pride as he looked at his beautiful bride! After the ceremony, some bubbles and family photos, we went with the bridal party to the St. Boniface Cathedral and the nunnery next door for lots of fun photos. I love that Christopher and Aimee are so sweet and romantic one minute and jumping on each others’ backs for fun photos the next minute! My hubby and I kept Aimee and Christopher a little longer for more photos and then drove them to the reception (and we went through a McDonald’s drive-thru on the way!), and then we had a little time for a few more photos in the evening light.
Their reception was filled with tasty food, gorgeous decor, a touching remembrance area for grandparents who were present in the families’ hearts, tears and laugher during the speeches, and some seriously fun and fabulous dancing! The DJ, Andre Genthon of Great Times Entertainment, was amazing – he got everyone excited and on the dance floor and played some fun games that I’d never seen before, I’d so highly recommend him to anyone!
