I love sweet photos of babies with individual family members!! Tavia, Nathan and their family are very good friends of ours, so it made it even more fun for me to make photos for them! I loved seeing big brother Nick with sweet little Lucy (and later cuddling and playing with Tyler), big sister Kaila (who is way better with babies than I am even at my age!), and big brother Tyler, who is so sweet and adorable with Lucy and such a proud big brother! And of course Tavia and Nathan with Lucy are some of my favorites! Even their dog Einstein got in on the baby cuddles!

Thank you so much you guys, you’re all fabulous!!! Here are a few of my favorites!!

I LOVE the look she’s giving her daddy in the middle photo!! I have a photo of myself as a baby giving my dad a similar look and it makes me laugh every time I see it, and my dad always says, “It was the first of many such looks over the years!”

Baby Mirium & Big Brother Lushyn

Meet baby Mirium!! She was a little over two weeks old when we got together and was so sweet and adorable!! She also has the strongest neck of any newborn I’ve seen, she was lifting and holding her little head up so well!! And she was so calm most of the time, just looking around and curious, and pretty much only cried when we tried to put a little hat on her head! Her big brother Lushyn got in a few photos with her, and then at the end his daddy got him laughing away with a fun little hat game, it was so cute!!!

Thank you so much to Scott and Lindsay, I loved meeting you both and I’m so so happy for you and your whole family!!! Here are just a few of my favorites, and the rest are just about ready for you to see as well!

Little Julia & Easton :: Winnipeg Child Photography

Meet little Julia and her proud big brother Easton! Julia was just over two weeks old when I met her and she is so so so perfect and sweet and beautiful and adorable!!! Easton had said during his mom’s whole pregnancy that he wanted a sister so he was so happy (although he apparently thinks she’s a little boring now! ) He was a little shy at first but I managed to get him to like me I think! And then he was so good with kissing his little sister, and his mom had him smell Julia’s little foot and that was so funny to him!

Tamara and Jaret, I’m so happy for you both, Julia is so precious and it will be so much fun to see her grow! And Tamara, I’m so glad we finally met, you’re so wonderful!!!

Congratulations to our friends Tavia & Nathan!!! They had their little daughter Lucy this morning by planned c-section. She arrived at 10:06 a.m., weighed 7 lbs, 5 oz. and was 20.5 inches long. Jody and I went to visit them tonight at the hospital and she was so so sweet and so so perfect!!! Tavia is feeling very good considering, and it’s SO cute how happy Nathan is, he’s a glowing new father!!

I want to keep this short and quick so I won’t write much more! I grabbed a few photos I took tonight and quickly edited them so Tavia and Nathan could see them and have them to show! I’m so happy for you two and so looking forward to seeing Lucy so much in the future and watching her grow!!!

Little Zoey!! – Winnipeg Child Photographer

I can’t believe how time flies sometimes, I’m starting to sound old cause I’m saying that all the time now, and making comments like “she’s grown so fast” and “I remember when”! Yes, I’m sounding like an old lady, I must stop!!!

I sooooo loved going to see little Zoey and how she’s grown! I had two maternity sessions with Melanie and Cam last year (first one and second one) and I loved getting to know them, they’re so wonderful and sweet and thoughtful and fun! And then little Zoey arrived and was the cutest little tiny newborn ever!! I was so excited to take her six-month photos and see how she’d grown and changed!! She’s still so teensy and petite (Melanie is little and cute too so Zoey is taking after her!), it was so cute how on one hand she’s a six-month-old little baby and sitting up and smiling and laughing, but she’s also so tiny and cuddly and still like a teensy little baby! And she absolutely emanates sweetness, she’s so cute, so feminine, so curious and just so so so sweet!!!! I was so in love!!! And her smile is so cute, and I love her little nose so much (I know that sounds silly but she really has the cutest nose!!)!

I had such a great time seeing all of them again, and Rocco and Lucy (their dogs/first babies) even remembered me! And I’m going to go hang out with Melanie and Zoey again soon so I can just hold Zoey and play with her!! Thank you so much to Cam, Melanie and Zoey, you’re all so wonderful!! Little Gabrielle

I was so excited when I got to see little Gabrielle again, the last time I’d seen her she had been a newborn! I’d seen photos that Angela would post on Facebook and loved seeing little Gabrielle growing and becoming such a smiley and happy baby and laughing so much in her photos – and that doesn’t surprise me at all cause Angela and Adrian are two of the happiest and most fun people to be around! I LOVED seeing how Gabrielle has changed, grown, gotten adorable baby pudginess, and of course I so loved seeing her smiling and laughing so much!! She’s so cute and so full of energy – oh and of course I love her red hair, too!!! She showed me some of the things she’s learned, like rolling from her back to her stomach, and she was doing this so-cute head-tilted-sideways thing when she was curious about something!

Thank you so much to Angela, Adrian and Gabrielle for having me to your home and being so wonderful, as always. And I’m so sorry I’ve taken so long with these photos, so I’ll get onto LOTS of my favorites!!

Little Zoey

Meet little Zoey!! She was just over three weeks old when I went over to take her photos and I absolutely fell in love!!! She’s so beyond sweet and adorable, and I loved her tiny little arms and her adorable little nose and every other thing about her! And I loved seeing Melanie and Cam being parents, they’re so cute, too!! I loved when Cam brushed her hair so sweetly, and I loved seeing all of Melanie’s notes on the newborn calendar about who visited, how much Zoey weighs, and also writing down all the aspects of Zoey’s personality!! Zoey was sleeping when I first got there and she went to sleep right at the end, but for most of the time she was wide awake and so alert and active. She got a bath when she got a little messy and that was really cute to see, and especially to see Melanie and Cam working together so perfectly when doing it. Oh and I loved how Cam would call her “Zo-Zo” when talking to her and trying to calm her down, it was so cute! The puppy dogs were so cute, too, and it’s so funny how differently they react to her. Rocco went over to check on her frequently and loved being around, but Lucy hid under the couch and bed a lot, especially when Zoey would start crying (I got a photo of that cause she was so cute hiding and peeking out!). Melanie’s mom was there too and I loved seeing her dote on her new little granddaughter, and when she was talking to her, Zoey would stare right up at her, it was so sweet!!

Here are a bunch of my favorite photos. Thank you so much to Melanie and Cam for being so wonderful and having me take Zoey’s newborn photos, I’m so so so incredibly happy for you both!!!! And thank you so much for being so beyond patient as well, I’m so sorry I took so long to get you these. I’ll get a slideshow link up in a few days so check back!

She did cry quite a bit during the bath to let her mommy and daddy know she wasn’t liking it, but those photos were a little too immodest to put on the blog. And I love how she’s looking up at Melanie in this one!!

Zoey’s like a little model here, even with her one knee raised – she was working it for the camera!!

Baby Nate

Meet little Nate and his mom and dad, Pam and Trevor! Nate was just 9 days old when I met him to take some photos and I loved all his adorable cuteness! I think my favorite thing of all was the little white bumps he had on his nose, I can’t get enough of them in the photos, and Pam said they were already starting to go away so I’m glad we were able to capture them in the photos for Pam and Trevor to remember. Nate stayed awake for the whole session, I think it won’t be until I have a baby of my own that I learn how to make them go to sleep when I’m taking photos. And I’m always amazed that such little and young babies stay awake for so long! Nate was curious and looking all around, he had a few snacks, and he pooped 4 times while I was there!!! We were all laughing about how we always think it’s so cute when babies poop and that’s for sure the only time it will be a “cute” thing in their lives!

Thank you so much to Trevor, Pam and Nate! I had a great time hanging out with you, chatting about all kinds of things, and of course cooing over all of Nate’s cuteness! Here are lots of my favorite photos from the day!

I LOVE how little Nate is in a tiny baby ball here, so so so cute!!

The beautiful fuzzy “nest” in the next three photos is knit by the fabulous Lee-Ann of Paper Raisins – she makes some of the most beautiful photography props for newborns, and also knits such cute hats for little kids (and adults, too!) You should definitely check her out, she’s fabulous!!

Baby Brianne

Here’s the full Baby Brianne post! Brianne was a little over 3 months old when I went to her house, and her mom and dad, Melissa and Ray, had her dressed in the cutest little pink polka-dot shirt with matching jeans and little headband! She was so cute, and her eyes were so big and blue – and she was looking up toward the camera a lot because of the flash going off toward the ceiling! Brianne was so sweet throughout and so patient and I soooo fell in love with her!!! And she had strong little legs and loved being held standing up – I love when little babies are held standing, they’re so tiny but yet look like little mini people (which I know they are)! I also thought it was so funny-cute when she took a big monster poo for her dad (Melissa and Ray said every Saturday she has a huge one just for her daddy to have to clean up)! And I loved their sweet little kitty who sat on the stairs and watched us, and brushed up against me when we were taking a break, I always love pets!! Oh – and she had strawberry blonde hair, so fun and I’m definitely a little partial to that!!

Little Brianne was very photogenic, and I love so many of her photos with her mom and dad (and I LOVED their pink-red wall for a backdrop)! Thank you so much to Melissa, Ray and Brianne, I had such a wonderful time chatting with you and taking lots of photos, and I wish you all so much joy in the coming months and with your move and Brianne learning lots of new things! Now to the photos – here are LOTS of my favorites!! ::
