Tavia & Nathan :: Anytime & Expecting!!

I’m so excited about these photos, the colors and textures are so beautiful and Nathan and Tavia were such fun to be around, and they were alternately silly and fun, and then totally into each other – the perfect mix!!! They’re expecting a little girl in March so this was both a fun “Anytime” session, and also a bit of a maternity session! I can’t wait to meet their little baby when she arrives, she’s going to be so cute and so well loved, and she’ll have three big siblings to help take of her and protect her!

Before I get to the photos, this is a perfect time for me talk a little about Tavia! She has become such a wonderful friend to me over the past few months, and I completely adore her and the sweet, wonderful and so giving person she is. I first met her when she called to schedule family photos last March or April and I adored her enthusiasm and excitement over the phone, and then I loved her immediately as soon as we met at the session. And then we became friends, and I can’t say enough about Tavia and her huge heart and her loyalty and her sweetness and goodness. She’s been my cheerleader when I’ve been down, and that has meant so so so much to me. And she’s absolutely so lovable and full of joy – she’s the kind of person who everyone loves and adores! So thank you, Tavia, for being you and the amazing and wonderful friend that you are, I so appreciate you and adore you!!!

Here are a bunch of my favorites! I started out with just 15 photos (cause I’m trying to cut down on the number of photos I put in posts), but I had to add more cause there are just so many I love. And I had to add in some of the silly ones, too – especially cause I know Nathan will love those!!

Jackie & Ryan :: Anytime

Last week I met Jackie, Ryan and Mia (from a previous post!) at Bruce Park for a little session with Jackie and Ryan, and of course some shots of cute little Mia as well!! It was a beautiful evening and the sun was just setting, I loved it! The park was so cute, too – very small but right off Portage Ave.

Jackie and Ryan have been married for about five years, and they had their wedding photos done at this park! They were a little out of practice at first but I loved having them being all kissy and lovey for the camera, and they were wonderful!!! And I loved Jackie’s outfit!!! I hope to get to know them both much better in the future, and for Jody to meet them as well!

Also, Mia made me laugh so much, she has so so so much energy! She ran and ran and ran, and when she’d see me pointing the camera at her she’d start screaming and run toward me, it was so funny! I have a couple little storyboards of her running-at-the-camera action!!

Lisa & Jon :: Anytime

Meet Lisa and Jon!! They are about to celebrate their two-year anniversary of dating, and also Lisa is Kristina’s (from two posts back) sister! Jon is in training for the RCMP in Regina, so he and Lisa only get to see each other on random weekends and it was so cute and wonderful to see how happy they were being together when we met up!!

We went to the Exchange District on a very rainy and wet Sunday morning. I’d luckily borrowed some umbrellas from Curtis to keep us mostly dry, but I sooooo loved that Lisa and Jon were playful and free-spirited and not afraid of a little rain. They even jumped in a big puddle!!! I had a great time hanging out with them and taking photos, and they were wonderful in every way! Enjoy your photos, you two!!
