It was such a fun party and it had been a few months since I’d seen August so I LOVED seeing him crawling all around, climbing all over things, and even standing up and starting to walk! And I loved seeing all the other little babies and children there as well and seeing them having fun and starting to interact with each other a little bit. August had his first taste of sugar in the form of his cupcake with yummy frosting, and he was a huge fan of the frosting, it was so cute and I loved his messy little frosting face and fingers!!! And he got so many nice presents from his baby friends, I’m sure he’s having fun with them!

Thank you so much to Ryan, Sue and August for having me be a part of this very special day!!! And I loved seeing your families again and meeting all the other moms as well! Here are some of my favorite photos!

I can’t believe August is standing and starting to walk, it seems like just yesterday that he was still a baby!

It was a fun time and they are all so wonderful, and all of the kids were so good (until the very end but they lasted a really long time)! Mia did a little pouting but I know her well now and I know she’ll eventually start smiling – at least when she’s let go and not being told to pose! And little Finley was so so so sweet, his favorite color is red and whenever I’d ask him, he’d get so excited telling me it was red, it was adorable! And then little Marshal, he was soooooo smiley and his smile is so infectious that it’s impossible to not smile right along with him. A funny little thing – when I first got there, Ryan was holding Marshal and I turned to see Marshal holding onto and pulling Ryan’s goatee – I wasn’t quick enough to get my camera (I was unpacking at the time) but it makes me smile every time I think of it! And one other thing that I have to mention – Peach and Ken have to be the best looking and coolest 3-time grandparents ever!! I loved taking sweet photos of them so much!!!

And Liam was so cute as well, in a wonderful little boy way! He put his Bob the Builder hat on for me, and he got some smarties after being so good and was showing me each color! His mommy put one of the Shrek movies on while I was there and Liam just loved that, and there are so many funny photos of him posing for the camera but looking toward the TV, it makes me laugh!

Thank you so much to Lindsay and Kelly for letting me photograph Mason while he was so tiny, and for inviting me into your home during such a special time. I loved documenting it for you!! Here are some of my favorites from the day!

Noah and Lauryn greeted me as soon as I came in and started showing me things right away, they weren’t shy at all!! They have a great play area, and Noah loves to draw (he even drew a picture of me and my camera!) and he has a big table for that, and he also showed me a few of his little cars, who all had nice parking places between pens and crayons – it was so cute how organized he was! And Lauryn was so cute playing with the handcuffs from Noah’s halloween costume, and then with her little stuffed panda, who she cradled and fed with a little bottle. Lauryn’s eyes are so amazing, so big and bright and blue – I love all the photos of her just for her eyes alone!

After many photos at the home, we all dressed up for the cold and went to a nearby park. Lauryn got cold pretty fast but she looked adorable even when she was crying with her little bottom lip out! And Noah was such a great little poser and playing for the camera, it was so fun! I love the photos of the whole family walking hand-in-hand so much, too!

Michael and Ren were both so nice, fun and easy to talk with, and Mikayla and Maro were both so adorable, it was a fun time and wonderful for my first shoot out in the snow! And also, I loved Ren’s coat!!! It’s just the kind and color of coat that I’ll be getting very soon! I did get warmer boots after this shoot, and I still really need some better gloves cause oh my fingers get cold so fast!

Maro’s expressions in this next set make me smile every time I look at them – I see him thinking, “I need to smile for the camera but what’s wrong with my sister?!”

I am so in love with little Kami, when I’m around her and holding her I so feel the urge to have a baby of my own! She’s soooo cuddly, and makes the most adorable little expressions, and has such a wonderful baby smell, and is so sweet and yes, I’m completely taken with her!!

Kami was two months old when we took these photos, and we put her in such cute little hats – I LOVE little hats on babies and children (and I’ll have more info on some adorable homemade hats soon!). The pink hat with the braided ties hanging down was my favorite – I want to get a few of those of my own for future baby shoots! We also took some photos of Kami in her future baptism outfit. It’s the same outfit that Tina was baptized in, and Kami’s older brother Steven was also baptized in it. Kami looked so angelic while she was sleeping in the white dress and little cap, and the sunlight coming in was so magical, I love those photos so much!

I also took a few photos of Steven when I first got there, and of Steven with little Kami. He was so funny because after about a minute he was tired of posing with Kami so claimed she was “hurting him” as she laid sleeping on him – so silly!! And then, at the end, I asked Tina to take some photos of Kami and I since I’m so in love with her, and Tina happily took many of us! I don’t usually post photos of myself from these shoots, but I had to here because I love them so much!!! So here are some of my favorites!

This is little Elle, who is a little over nine months old and so absolutely perfectly adorable!! I so so so loved her little striped hoodie and her little shoes that her mom, Nancy, dressed her in!!! Little Elle has learned to crawl, but she had a hard time getting her feet underneath her with the big shoes she’s not used to, and it made for so many so cute photos of her sitting in the grass and sitting in the leaves – and speaking of leaves, she was loving them!! She was also loving putting them in her mouth and trying to eat them before mum could pull them out! She even tried to eat gravel (yucky!) and wasn’t happy when mum tried to get it all out of her mouth. I had to include such a funny photo of Elle looking like she’s doing a yoga Downward Dog pose, it makes me smile every time I see it! And near the end, when she didn’t want to smile as much, it was so adorable how ticklish she was and she’d laugh and laugh and laugh when Nancy tickled her under her little arms!!

I loved meeting little Elle, she was so sweet and had such a cute little smile and laugh! Here are some of my favorite photos!!

This is little Adam, who is two years old. I met him, his mom Malisa, and my friend Lori (who is so wonderful and organized the whole day, and you’ll see her daughter Laurel in another post from the day!) at 9:30 a.m. at the Stonewall Quarry. Malisa brought a whole bag of Adam’s toys for him, it was so cute! He loved all of his tractors and made the deepest sound I’ve ever heard coming from a little boy when moving them forward, and made beeping sounds when moving them backwards!! We initially had a little trouble getting him to look up, or look at the camera, or smile, but he’d always look up when we asked him to show us the moon, and he’d point up to where it was still visible! By the end he was running all around and being every inch the little boy, which included playing in the mud, dragging big sticks, throwing rocks (which made him laugh so much so I was able to get some smiling photos!), and kicking the fence that he couldn’t get through! I loved Adam’s little owl hat, too, so so so cute!!! I have a thing for cute hats on little babies and children, I need to start a collection of my own so I’ll always have a choice of cute hats for children to wear!

Here are a few of my favorites! And the last one is a little joke – Lori and Malisa were laughing that there would be so many photos with one of their legs running out of the picture because whenever Adam would turn around, which was a lot, I’d run to the other side and they’d then run to get out of the background of the photo – so Lori did a little funny photo for me and I love Adam’s expression, wondering what in the world his silly Auntie Lori was doing!!!
